New Study on High Frutose Corn Syrup

I wonder how the corn/food industry is going to spin this: High-Fructose Corn Syrup Prompts Considerably More Weight Gain, Researchers Find
This quote just blew me away:

“When rats are drinking high-fructose corn syrup at levels well below those in soda pop, they’re becoming obese — every single one, across the board. Even when rats are fed a high-fat diet, you don’t see this; they don’t all gain extra weight.”

I can happily say I have not drank a can of soda pop in at least 6 years (I will admit to an occasional rum and coke when out on the town). But this does make me feel bad about having a fridge full of soda for guests, oh well, there is water in there as well.
