On Fridays they play the 80s station at the gym. Nothing like Eddie Money’s “Take Me Home” to get me going on the elliptical (you can decide if I am being sarcastic or not.)
It is finally summer here! Not just warm, but blazing hot. Or it just seems that way since it was cold and rainy for most of June. Looks like it will be pretty nice for the upcoming three-day weekend. Yay for weekends! Double yay for 3-day weekends! I am just hoping my weekend involves some sushi (somewhere NOT in the ‘burbs) and a movie at a theater, but as my life has been going lately that is not highly likely. Hopefully I will at least get to work on my tan. I would like a good poolside book as well. Maybe I ask too much?
